a) It took part, together with Rome and Madrid, in the program of European Union: "Europe against AIDS - Comparative Survey on HIV/AIDS Risk Behaviours in a Population of Young Marginalized People in three Southern European Countries". The results of the research have been announced in the Congress of Rome on the 6th of July 1998. Greece had undertaken the data processing and the presentation of the results.

b) Together with the previously mentioned two cities, it takes part with Nimes of France and Lisbon of Portugal, in the 2nd stage of the same program: "Comparative Survey on HIV/AIDS Risk Behaviours in a Population of Young Marginalized People in Some European Countries: Prevention and Systemic Counselling".

c) CARITAS HELLAS participates in the 2nd phase of the programme of the European Union (No 99/SID/020) "Comparative survey on HIV/AIDS risk behaviors in a population of young marginalized people in some European Countries - Prevention and Systemic Counselling", together with the other NGOs: CARITAS DIOCESANA DI ROMA, FUNDACION ANTI-SIDA ESPANA (Madrid), AIDES LANGUEDOC - CEVENNES (Nimes, FRANCE), LIGA PORTUGUESA CONTRA A SIDA (Lisbon).

In this way the projection of Caritas Hellas is very important, because the results of the mentioned research are published in distinguished and interesting publications, which circulate in all the states members of the European Union.
